OUR PROFESSIONALS Denver Office Marilynn R. Carr, ASA Principal mcarr@houlihan.com Marilynn R. Carr is the managing principal of the Denver office of Houlihan Valuation Advisors. Ms. Carr has been performing valuations of business entities and equity interests since 1984, and has been affiliated with HVA since 1994. Her experience includes valuations for ESOPs, litigation, transactions, estate planning and various tax purposes. She has provided expert testimony in many district courts in Colorado, as well as being prequalified to testify in Federal Tax Court and Federal Bankruptcy Court. Her speaking engagements have included presentations for the University of Denver Graduate Tax Program, the University of Wyoming College of Business, Continuing Legal Education in Colorado, Inc., the National Institute, and Lorman Education Services. Ms. Carr received a Bachelors Degree in History from Stanford University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration, with emphases in finance and marketing, from the University of Colorado. Prior to her affiliation with HVA, she managed an independent valuation firm, M. R. Carr & Associates, performing valuation and consulting services for clients in the Rocky Mountain area.
